Clayton W. Buchanan III
Clayton Buchanan began his career in construction when he was just 15 years old, working in his father's lumber yard and on jobsites as a carpenter in Augusta, Georgia. He grew up spending summers and long weekends in Fernandina Beach and helped build the family beach house on South Fletcher. After graduating from the University of Georgia he decided to make Fernandina Beach his permanent home in 1983. He worked hard to obtain his General Contractors License and founded Buchanan Builders Inc. in 1987.

Liba Buchanan
PROJECT MANAGER
Liba Buchanan was born and raised in Fernandina Beach before attending the University of Georgia to study Economics & Business. After graduation, Liba moved to Charleston, South Carolina where she followed her passion for helping others, serving the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society as a Campaign Development Manager, leading large scale fundraising campaigns and events. In this role she honed her skills in project and volunteer management, working with hundreds of volunteers and managing logistics for year long projects and large events. After nearly 4 years raising funds to fight cancer with LLS, Liba moved back to her hometown to be closer to family and join the Buchanan Builders team in 2021.

"I grew up in beautiful Buchanan Builders original homes and have many cherished childhood memories from each new or renovated home we lived in. After many years of admiring my dad's work, I am so excited to officially be a part of the Buchanan Builders team. I have always had a passion for architecture and design and am thrilled to utilize my obsession with organization and planning to help guide clients through every phase of the construction process. In my role, I get to work with clients one on one to bring their vision to life, ensuring that every detail of the project exceeds their expectations. I will be your go to girl for all things project management and can't wait to help you build your dream home or next project! ​When I'm not managing projects you will find me making charcuterie boards, with friends at one of my favorite local restaurants or relaxing at the beach. I love my hometown and being a part of it's development is a dream come true!"

Myles Rabant
Myles is a Fernandina Beach native and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Business Management from the University of North Florida in 2015. After 7 years in the insurance industry, Myles made the move into construction management and has been learning from the most seasoned and talented craftsmen in the local market. He takes a strategic approach to project management and his attention to detail is what you can count on to make sure your project site is on point. From material and subcontractor management, to overseeing inspections and workmanship, Myles will make sure the job is done right.

I take a hands on approach to construction and project site management, focusing on the construction process and moving through each phase as efficiently as possible."

Robyn Yonn
OPERATIONS MANAGER
Robyn Yonn is a Fernandina Beach native, and earned her Bachelors of Health Science from University of Florida. After graduation, Robyn started her career in Gainesville, and continued into healthcare management. She has joined Buchanan Builders recently and brings to the table her management and business development skills. She works behind the scenes to ensure our internal operations run smoothly.

When not working, I am spending time with my husband and daughter. We enjoy golf cart rides around town, local restaurants, and spending time by the pool. We have a very active daughter who enjoys dance and Disney. I cherish Amelia Island and all its appeal with raising a family in this community.”

Catie Harless
Catie Harless was born in Fernandina and has spent most of her life here. She attended Florida State College at Jacksonville to attain her Associate of Arts degree and then attended The Institute of Integrative Nutrition to receive her Health Coach Certification. She has worked in multiple administrative roles in different areas from the interior design world to the financial industry. She thrives with a good “to do” list in hand and is excited to be a part of the Buchanan Builders team.

In my spare time I love to spend time with my family and friends and find fun local restaurants to try! My husband Brandon and I have a fun and energetic son named Archie. He keeps us busy, but I wouldn’t have it any other way!”
